Psychotherapy with Chronic Mind/Body States
Five, one-hour webinar sessions will explore how psychotherapists and allied health care professionals can better understand and work integratively with shame and pride in survivors of relational trauma (RT).
This course is appropriate for psychotherapists and graduate students at all levels, with at least some experience working with RT survivors.
Neurofeedback (NF) will not be discussed in this course, and therefore no NF experience is required of participants.
Participants will receive slides for each session, as well as pertinent written handouts and references.
What to Expect
Learn On-Demand: Join Dr. Ken Benau for five, one-hour webinar sessions that explore how psychotherapists and allied health care professionals can better understand and work integratively with shame and pride in survivors of RT.
Consider Core Concepts: Take a deep dive into the literature on shame, pride, and RT, and enhance understanding of these concepts through clinical examples. Gain unique insights into Dr. Benau's extensive work on these topics.
Explore Clinical Applications: Review clinical vignettes, including verbatim transcripts from several psychotherapy sessions, that demonstrate movement from shame states, to authentic pride, pro-being pride, and beyond to states of unity consciousness.
Participants that complete this course and its assessments are eligible for 5 Continuing Education (CE) credit hours for their participation.
